Objective :
Norimasa Takehara ,President of Sapporo JCI
  1. He makes the company to pursue the adaptable innovation to the change of time. He has firm a principal and belief and he makes required company of local change
  2. He develops the urban environment to adjust the various life style. He creates safe living environments and attractive city of Sapporo
  3. He campaigns the children glowing up healthy for good local community development
  4. He keeps the identity as the Japanese living in Sapporo. He accepts many culture and develops ability to create new value. And he educate talent to have social contribution focus on next generation
  5. He offers Sapporo citizens chance to use social resources
  6. He holds seminars and training program in annual plan ,and gathers new member of the JCI Sapporo more and more.
Overview :
He held on programs with Sapporo JCI of members
  1. He provided a chance to use office worker and improvement of working conditions. He held on panel discussion and discussed business approach to work men and woman each other.
  2. He provided students a chance three times for study about future of Sapporo. He created positive change the citizens to announce student of research results. He went on a tour of inspection for students announced good results of research.
  3. He held on keynote address by Kageki Shimoda being most famous for novelist in Japan and read aloud the picture book. The picture book made deep human relationship. He donated the picture book to library and children’s home
  4. He programmed global human development program for 12 students of Sapporo at Thailand.
    ・To attend a lecture by JAICA’s staff at Thailand.
    ・To make students of local and government officials understand by relationship.
    He made the students report and made the students announce for Sapporo citizens
  5. He investigated Okadama air port is center of Sapporo but the customer was decreasing.
  6. He made all 248 participants include 147 citizens participate.
  7. He thought about future value at Okadama airport of Sapporo.
  8. He made youth wants to participate in JCI participate about business seminar and program of reskilling.
    In this way, He got more new members by let youth participate in activity to JCI Sapporo.
Results :
  • He provided opportunity management could work men and women to participant. Thus, the participant did active change to the management
  • He did an active change to 67 students.
  • He gave positive change opportunity had a child
  • To positive change 97% the citizens participated.
    He recognized to hope 87% more positive change.
    His project appear in Hokkaido newspaper and financial paper of Sapporo.
    To help with the realization of his vision.
  • He taught all of participant to power of understanding an international sense and other culture by global human development program. Result of questionnaire, he felt 88% citizens of Sapporo need to international communication and he recognized 84% wanted to mature of global human
  • He campaigned the citizens did effective utilization of community resources.
    He campaigned the citizens enhanced the function of Okadama airport of Sapporoand more citizens of Sapporo make it easy.
  • He was enrolled 52 new members by December 2013.

    Recommendations :
    1. He collected more participant by internet of the commercial televising.
      Therefore, he provided more participant to opportunity an active change.
      He did active change so that can be active so many women of company
      He was not able to collect a lot age 20 to 29 participant
      He was not able to make understanding childcare leave system and work-sharing to Sapporo citizens.
  • He gave couse that get interest students to community development.
    He was able to make students investigate about city problem and cause.
    He went on a tour of inspection more effective company by get cooperation of company in Sapporo.
  • He should provided to continue opportunity of future urban city environment creation for more students.
    He should appeal government for realize students make future urban city environment creation plan in future
  • He let citizens make a picture book. As a result, he built a relationship of strong trust with Sapporo citizens.
    He read the picture book for Sapporo’s children at children’s home and kindergarten in Sapporo and then did positive change.
  • He should have looked for the place to read many picture book.
    He should have increased a picture shortened sentence of the picture book.
  • He gave basic power to the participating student as global human from the stage explanation advance.

    He made participating student did presentation of result the program for Sapporo citizens.
    He understood it as being important to grow up global human the Sapporo citizens heard the presentation from questionnaire.
    He was not able to give language ability required for communication with peple of a local for participating student all members of the program.

    He understood that Sapporo citizens hope to improve air plain performance for jet noise result of a hearing.
    He recognized the only 38% participants understanding that Sapporo Okadama Airport will give economic effects to Sapporo in this meeting.
    He should campaign more citizens use to Okadama airport.
  • He made to experience more youth for JCI activity, and he collected new many members to creat active change and to creat positive activity.
    He was not able to use web site and social work system effectively to recruit new members.

      As a result, they attended ASPAC to 41,World congress to 15, and he provided opportunity feel themselves international organization of JCI.

    2. After he was experienced the head of an exeutive committee on award of JCI Sapporo, He is positive change and is practicing to friendship with the world on 2012.
    3. ’That earth’s great treasure lies in human personality’’ is considered as a belief and He provided opportunity to many international exchange.
    Which JCI Value does this member exemplify most in his or her JCI activities? He is considered as a belief ‘’That the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations’’
    He found out value of popular diplomacy with Korea in exist various problem incapable of solution by cross-national.
    While he was president, he sponsored commemorative ceremony for sister city of JC 40 anniversary with JCI Dongdaegu.
